Dr. Ketul Joshi
Dr. Joshi specializes in General Optometry, Contact Lenses, Dry Eye and Computer Vision Syndrome, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society.
He earned his BS, with distinction, from the University of Alberta, and made the Dean’s List while earning his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri, St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Joshi was the proud recipient of the California Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award.
As a child, Dr. Joshi grew up in Edmonton, Canada, and enjoyed skiing and playing hockey in the winter and playing basketball in the summer. He also enjoyed spending time hiking in the Rockies and attending the many festivals that the city had to offer during the year. He was always interested in biology and specifically the visual system and how the eyes impact our perception of the world around us.
Dr. Joshi is married with two children, his daughter is attending college at Berkeley and his son is in high school. In his spare time he enjoys running, golf and staying active. He has participated in many 10K and half marathons as well as completing a Spartan Trifecta.
Dr. Joan Jen
Dr. Joan Jen possesses a B.Sc. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, with an emphasis on Physiology from the University of CA, Davis and a Doctor of Optometry from University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Jen has been in practice for 10 years, and specializes in LASIK co-management.
She grew up in the Bay Area and is an avid sports fan, especially for football and fantasy football, skiing and running. She also enjoys traveling and is a big animal lover and advocate.
Mitch
Mitch, ABOC, began his career in optics as an optometric assistant, building on a strong foundation in medical knowledge and a passion for the field. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in a variety of specialized ophthalmology and optometry clinics. Certified by the American Board of Opticianry, Mitch has collaborated with renowned optical laboratories and manufacturers such as Essilor, Zeiss, Hoya, Maui Jim, and Oakley, helping to advance prescription lens technology and expand patient options. Originally from the Philippines, Mitch enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, technology, and home improvement projects. In his free time, he plays the guitar and keyboard, and loves traveling with his wife Anna and their son Timothy.
Alejandra
Alejandra is a dedicated optician with a true passion for helping patients look and feel their best in their eyewear. With strong experience in customer service, she takes pride in guiding patients through the entire eyewear process-from selecting frames that fit their style and comfort to ensuring the perfect fit for clear, confident vision. In her spare time, Alejandra enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking care of her 2 cats.
Sharry
A native of the Bay Area, Sharry began her career in the optical field as a pretester and has since accumulated over five years of experience. Throughout her career she has made it her goal to provide patients with exceptional care and service. Now serving as an optical technician, she is dedicated to collaborating with patients to help them find the ideal pair of glasses tailored to their needs. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cooking, spending quality time with her dog and supporting the Golden State Warriors. Go Dubs!
